FREE TPS Assistance for Haitian Nationals
Wed, February 10th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Licensed immigration attorneys will be available to answer questions from the Haitian community as well as to assist in filling out applications for Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
We need your help to provide aid to the earthquake victims in Haiti. Please bring water, non-perishable foods, and medical supplies (NO clothing) to the donation bins located in city facilities. Monetary donations may be made online or in person at the City Hall Cashier's office.

Purina Walk for the Animals 2010
Purina Walk for the Animals 2010 is Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. Proceeds from the event go to support the Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet.

Attention business owners! Small businesses located in District 4 can receive financial assistance to help defray operational costs through the Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program. Applications will be accepted from January 15 to February 15.

1st Annual Wheelchair Tennis Classic
Friday, April 2nd - Sunday, April 4th, 2010
United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the City of NMB's Disability Sports program will host its first Annual Wheelchair Tennis Classic Championship at the Arthur Snyder Tennis Center.

Facade Improvement Grant Program
Qualified owners of businesses in the CRA may apply for grant assistance that will pay for up to 50% of the total cost of improvements. The CRA Facade Program will give preference to businesses along NE 163rd Street from NE 8th Avenue to Biscayne Boulevard and north to NE 171st Street.

SBA Offers Disaster Assistance Loans
Residents and businesses affected by the severe storms and flooding that occurred December 17, 2009 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
