Services & Materials

This municipal library, funded by the City of North Miami Beach, serves the citizens of North Miami Beach. The library has a diverse collection of over 60,000 items, which include fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, newspapers, videos, audio books and discs, compact discs, and DVD's for adults, teens, and children. A bilingual and multi-cultural staff provides a variety of services and programs.

Available Materials

Lots of fun and serious materials are available for adults, teens, and children: books, magazines, local and national newspapers, DVD’s, book and music CD's. Materials in Chinese, Creole, French, and Spanish languages, materials for adults just learning to read or whose first language is not English, and E-Z teen books are also available.

You can pick up voter registration, financial aid, and tax forms. Borrow, print, and CDs to learn a new language. Attend educational programs on financial planning, small business development, identity theft, alternative medicine, living wills, and art classes.

Materials for Kids

Parents and caregivers are delighted to find a wide range and variety of programs for their kids: toddler time, story hour for preschoolers, arts and crafts, reading workshops for parents, and summer reading activities and programs.

Something for Everyone

There’s something for business people, new immigrants, and families with young children, students K-College, recreational readers, computer users, job hunters, and researchers. The library is also a site for tutors teaching adults to read.
