Apply to Be a Volunteer

In many jurisdictions around the country, volunteers in the community have offered their time, skills and services to law enforcement agencies. These citizen volunteers help supplement and support officers and civilian personnel by allowing them to concentrate on their primary duties.

Volunteer roles may include performing clerical tasks, serving as an extra set of "eyes and ears," writing citations for various parking violations, conducting radar speed surveys to reduce speeding in our neighborhoods, assisting before, during and after disasters and other duties based on the departments needs.

Our volunteer efforts foster a culture of service, citizenship, and responsibility, building on the generous spirit of the people of our community. The North Miami Beach Police Department and it's volunteers have a common goal of helping our community prevent, prepare for, and respond to crime, natural disasters, and other emergencies.
