The Recreation Committee was established under the provisions of Ordinance 79-20 on September 4, 1979 to study the needs of the community.
The Recreation Committee studies the needs of the community for recreational facilities and programs in light of existing programs, potential programs and population distribution by age groups and income classification.
The Recreation Committee is comprised of 7 members, each serving two year terms.
