[ARCHIVED] NMB Water returns to quarterly billing

Quarterly billing is back!

As requested by our residents, NMB Water is returning to quarterly billing, starting in January 2020. In 2018, we had transitioned from quarterly to monthly billing, as customers had asked for and in hopes of simplifying bill paying. We were mistaken, and we are working quickly to correct this.


Our goal has always been to provide clean, high-quality water and reliable service for our residents and other customers residing outside North Miami Beach. Our water treatment process, while more costly than others in South Florida, is what allows us to provide water that surpasses all standards. Planned plant infrastructure improvements will help ensure we can continue to provide this high level of service for many more years to come. To make these improvements, quarterly bills will include a $13.70 base rate, which is lower than the sum of the current monthly base rate over a three-month period (quarter).


We thank all our customers for expressing their concerns and preferences, and apologize for any confusion the recent changes may have caused. NMB Water is committed to providing the safest and most reliable drinking water in South Florida, accompanied by excellent customer service.
