Chaplain Robert Moss is currently serving as the Pastoral Care Pastor at Citi Church in Miami, Florida. He has over 30 years of experience in church ministry, and he has served as Senior Pastor of several local churches in South Florida.
He was a director at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Medical Center in New York. Reverend Moss has over 25 years of work experience in the Health Care Industry as a hospital and nursing home administrator. Reverend Moss has served as a chaplain for the Florida Department of Children and Family Services for over 5 years, and 6 years as a VITAS Healthcare Corporation Chaplain.
He is the founder and director of the (BCI) Bereavement Care Institute. The BCI provides counseling and referral services to those who are bereaved. BCI also offers training in bereavement care to churches and civic groups. The Institute also provides training for individuals who are interested in becoming a chaplain.
Reverend Moss has a bachelors degree in business administration from New York University and a masters degree in ministry from the Southern Baptist Center for Biblical Studies. He is currently the Senior Chaplain for the North Miami Beach Police Department. He has served in this position for over 19 years. Reverend Moss is a member of the International Police Chaplain Association. He is the chairperson of the Ives Estate Crime Watch group.
He and his wife Audrey created the annual Celebrate Safe Community Event in Ives Estate. He also serves on the Citizen’s Advisory Intracoastal District Miami-Dade County Police Department. Reverend Moss and his wife Audrey assist their son George with his company, Gmoss Designs, LLC. They help encourage people to use their gifts and talents to uplift their communities.
