Mark Rosenberg serves as director of (CSE) Chesed Shel Emes (emergency service recovery unit) and Chaplain of (FHP) Florida Highway Patrol and Chaplain of the North Miami Beach Police Department. He was introduced to voluntary community service at an early age in the state of NY, serving in many capacities, including Clergy to NYPD’s Department of Transportation, member of CSE Chesed Shel Emes and Chairman of Police and Safety to Brooklyn’s Community Board 12. Mark later enlisted as a member/advisor of the organization MASK (Mothers and Fathers Aligned Saving at-risk Kids), and today continues to serve as a children’s advocate to many organizations across the globe.

Mark graduated Talmudic and Rabbinic school at Yeshiva Gdolah Ateres Yisroel in Monsey NY. In 1999 Mark joined CSE organization in Brooklyn NY. In 2004 Mark was ordained as Rabbi of CSE, and when he relocated to Miami Dade County in Florida in 2007, he was immediately appointed as the organization’s director. This new position enabled him to offer advice and assistance to many, including educational seminars for various police and sheriff departments, medical examiner’s offices and, through a collaboration with the state, Florida’s State Trooper’s force and (FDLE) Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Mark also serves as the clergy to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office. Mark went on to become part of Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez’ Faith-Based Community Symposium initiative. Using his affiliations within the Jewish and other faith-based communities, Mark assists law enforcement in cultural competency training, inter-agency planning and coordination, and as a community outreach coordinator.

His liaisonship between Governor Rick Scott’s office as well as various departments throughout the state of Florida and between the Jewish community allows him to expertly alleviate particular concerns related to the Jewish community’s religious values. Today, Mark is available 24/7 to all departments in case of emergency or for any other time sensitive assistance. His all-encompassing work with specialties in crisis management, loss of life, and other special situations is always voluntary. His profession remains real estate, and consulting.
